1) Ensure the "LCWSoft License Manager" addon from https://www.lcwsoft.com/download/category/3/LCWSoft-License-Manager.html is up to date. The listing will have the version number in the title and should match that under Setup > Addon Modules (if using WHMCS 7.10 or older) or Configuration > System Settings > Addon Modules (if using WHMCS 8.0 or newer). If it does not, you need to download and re-upload the new version.
2) Upload the contents of the "upload_me" folder to the main folder in your WHMCS installation.
3) Deactivate the "Elavon VirtualMerchant/Converge" (or "Elavon VirtualMerchant/Converge Tokens" for tokenization) module(s) under Setup > Addon Modules (if using WHMCS 7.10 or older) or Configuration > System Settings > Addon Modules. If they are not present, you can skip this step.
4) Delete the /modules/addons/elavonvirtualmerchantconverge and /modules/addons/elavonvirtualmerchantconvergetokens folders. If they are not present, you can skip this step.
5) Check the settings for "Elavon VirtualMerchant/Converge" (or "Elavon VirtualMerchant/Converge Tokens" for tokenization) under Setup > Payments > Payment Gateways (if using WHMCS 7.10 or older) or Configuration > System Settings > Payment Gateways, enter your license key if it isn't already filled in, and click "Save Changes" even if you do not make any changes.
Note for 3DSecure 2.0: please contact Elavon customer service and confirm that it is enabled for your internet terminal. If it is, have them confirm that it is enabled for both MasterCard and Visa. By default, they only enable it for Visa and failing to ensure it is enabled for MasterCard will cause MasterCard payments to fail.
