As per the e-mail notification, we experienced some downtime on Athena yesterday. After having our datacenter investigate the problem, it was discovered that a fauly stick of RAM was causing the server to shut off intermittently.
The faulty part was replaced last night and the server has been running smoothly ever since. We would also like to announce that we will be using a new monitoring system that will alert us the moment there is an issue with any of our servers. We hope that this will allow for faster resolution of any problems that may arise in the future.
